Certified safety
In the future, when customers book events at the
ICM – International Congress Centre Munich, guaranteed quality and safety standards are automatically included: Earlier this year, ICM competence
partner and technical-services partner
Neumann&Müller(N&M) was certified in accordance with the new SR 6.0 quality
standard by the German Testing Institute for Event Technology (DPVT).
According to N&M Team Leader Manuel Lorenz, certification gives the
company an important pioneering role: “Organising events calls
for heightened awareness to safety. As a certified provider, we
guarantee superior standards for all trades in a very multifaceted
market and ensure maximum safety for participants and employees
alike.”

Strict standardsUnlike other certification standards such as ISO, the new SR 6.0
industry standard pertains to both the technical and the business
aspects of a company: “Working procedures and the equipment that
is used are examined just as closely as other aspects such as employee
training and management structures,” explains Lorenz.
As one of the first companies in all of Germany, N&M was certified
in the categories lighting technology, audio technology, video
technology, information technology and rigging.
