About the event

"The 56th FIFA Congress in Munich was a highlight for everyone involved. The prominent visitors - protagonists from today and the last 50 years of soccer - were able to enjoy a wonderfully organized opening event. The introduction of the various member countries as well as the music and dance performances were a memorable experience and created a framework around the official speakers, which included German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel and FIFA President Joseph Blatter.

For the "team" in the background, the congress was very demanding from a technical standpoint, and cooperation between the various equipment companies, agencies and the ICM staff was a special challenge. Thanks to the supervision of a Swiss agency, everyone's expectations were met and this smooth-running event turned out to be a complete success."
