"The European Society of Cardiology congress occupied the entire ICM as well as six additional exhibiton halls where conference rooms were set up and medical-technology and pharmaceuticals exhibitions were located. Within just two weeks, enormous demands with regard to logistcs, technical equipment and state-of-the-art communications technology were met and some 3,000 smooth-running lectures and discussion forums were realized for the organizers on time.
