Trusses
The ICM has a variety of Prolyte (H40V) trusses available in various lengths for building truss structures. Truss circles are also available (diameters 2m, 4m, 6m, 8m and 10m).

Chain hoists
Room 14 has 24, room 13 8 chain hoists, in the audience area and 12 chain hoists in the stage area, each permanently installed and with a maximum capacity of 500 kg. In keeping with BGV C1 (guidelines for use above audiences), they are equipped with double back-up systems and do not require any additional load-securing devices. Programmed movements are not possible with these motors.
There are also 16 portable chain hoists available, each with a capacity of 1,000 kg (rigging motors as defined by BGV D8). They are controlled using a separate control system (combining C1 and D8 hoists is not possible).

Overhead machinery Room 1
Room 1 is equipped a sophisticated network of overhead machinery that consists of 16 machine hoists, 1 skylight hoist, 4 panorama hoists, 8 point hoists (stage) and 6 point hoists (room). The maximum capacity of each hoist is 500 kg. The Guddland control console installed in Room 1 can be used to program complex movements of all hoists for scene changes - including those synchronized with regard to time and route traveled - priot to the event and have them executed at the push of a button.

Stage machinery Room 1
The stage in Room 1 consists of 9 rising platforms and 2 forestage platforms. The 9 rising platforms can be adjusted from 0.00 m to +2.00 m (0.00 = room level). Forestage platform 1 is a two-story platform and can be adjusted from 0.00 m to +1.00 m. Forestage platform 2 is normally kept at room level. However, if the seats that are installed there are removed, it can be raised to stage level (+1.00 m) or lowered by up to -1.80 m. In this case, it can be used together with forestage platform 1 to create an orchestra pit. The platforms move at a speed of 2.5 cm/s.
